With offices in multiple countries and an established client base in Chile, they are now planning to open a local office in Chile to increase their market share.Descripción Reporting to the VP Americas, the main responsibilities are:Identify opportunities to develop customised engineering solutions that generate new business opportunities and lead to formal proposals (B2B).Build and maintain close relationships with the technical teams of EPC and O&M companies to identify and understand their engineering solution needs.Conduct market research to identify projects and requirements within the target segment, while monitoring industry developments and competitor activity.Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.Collaborate on key administrative aspects of the sales process, including PO delivery, presentations, and the submission of bids, proposals, and contracts, coordinating with internal teams such as engineering, operations, and bids & proposals to ensure a strong team-based approach.Report on sales performance and provide insights to enhance business development efforts.Perfil buscado (Hombre / Mujer) A successful Business Development Manager (BDM) for engineering solutions should have:Proven experience in B2B technical sales related to mining projects, with a strong understanding of engineering, as well as the EPC and O&M business models.Key skills: a positive mindset, entrepreneurial spirit and a strong goal-driven approach, with the persistence to succeed despite challenges.Strong networking and relationship-building capabilities, particularly with technical teams.The ability to identify market trends and capitalise on business opportunities.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.English is a plus, but not essential.Qué ofrecemos Our client offers long-term employment, with career development opportunities both locally and internationally, training, and the challenge of leading business growth in the Chilean market.
